What is a Notary Public?

Updated: May 21

A Notary Public is an official appointed by the Secretary Of State to publicly serve as an impartial witness in the signing of important documents. Notaries help prevent fraud by verifying the identity of signers, making sure they understand the documents they are signing, and ensuring they are signing voluntarily. Notaries public notarize many types of documents, including affidavits, powers of attorney, and real estate transactions. At Girl Friday Notary Services, I  prioritize accuracy, professionalism, and trustworthiness for all my clients.
