Unlocking the Mystery of Pricing:Demystifying Notary Costs!

Ever wondered why notary services often come with a bit of ambiguity when it comes to pricing? Let's dive into the factors that influence the costs and why it's not always a one-size-fits-all scenario.

Travel Fees:

Unlike stationary notaries, I hit the road to meet you wherever you are, ensuring convenience and flexibility. However, travel expenses can vary based on distance traveled. Rest assured, I strive to keep these fees fair and transparent.

Number of Notarial Acts:

Each signature I notarize counts as a separate notarial act. For instance, if a document requires three signatures from one signer, that's three notarial acts. If there are multiple signers, each with multiple signatures, the number of notarial acts—and subsequently, the fees—can add up.

Document Complexity:

The size and complexity of your documents also play a role. Lengthy contracts, intricate legal forms, or specialized documents may require additional time and attention to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Max Notary Fee:

In Washington, the maximum fee per notarial act is $10. So, for example, if a document has one signer who needs to sign three times, the maximum notary fee just for notarizing the signatures would be $30. If there are two signers, each requiring three signatures, the maximum fee would be $60.

Printing and Mailing Fees:

Sometimes, I may need to print documents or handle mailing services on your behalf. These additional services could incur supplementary charges.

Specialized Training for Real Estate Transactions:

Notarizing real estate transactions requires specialized training and certifications to ensure compliance with industry regulations. Due to the complexity and importance of these documents, they are usually priced as a package deal, tailored to the size and intricacy of the closing documents.

In essence, while I aim to provide exceptional service at competitive rates, the total cost of your notarial needs may vary based on these factors.

Rest assured, my commitment to professionalism, reliability, and convenience remains unwavering.
