I am beyond honored and excited to announce that Girl Friday Notary Services has been nominated for Best Woman‑Owned Service Business in Pierce County! To be recognized alongside so many amazing businesses in our area is truly humbling, and I am deeply grateful for this opportunity.
For those who don’t already know me, I’m Kendra, a retired Firefighter and EMT turned mobile and online notary. After serving my community for 25 years in the fire service, I wanted to continue making a difference and providing a service that goes beyond the surface. Becoming a notary felt like a natural fit, allowing me to help people when it matters most, whether it’s finalizing a home sale, signing a trust, or notarizing a medical or financial document.
Why This Matters to Me
To me, notarization is about more than stamps and signatures. It’s about building trust, making connections, and making sure every person feels confident and supported throughout the process. As a one‑woman business, I focus on quality over quantity and people over profits. I also understand that life doesn’t always happen between nine and five, which is why I’m available after hours and on weekends, offering mobile and online appointments for your convenience.
I also have a soft spot for pets and I carry treats with me to appointments and love making friends with your furry family members. Helping you get your documents signed, sealed, and delivered doesn’t have to be boring or intimidating. In fact, I always say, “Notarization may be boring, but I’m not!” Helping people, putting them at ease, and making a sometimes stressful process smooth and painless is truly what I love about this work.
